Ice Skating
There is an estiblished ice skating rink within Yellowstone National Park located at Mammoth Hot Springs. The rink is located behind the Mammoth Hot Springs Recreation Center. On a cold winter's night you can rent skates and enjoy a family evening gliding across the well-kept rink. The rink even plays seasonal melodies over the PA system! You can rent skates on site. It is pretty cold out on the ice, but there is a fire to warm your bones on the rink's edge.
Don't forget that there are also ice rinks at almost every community surrounding the Park. Nothing else sums up a winter vacation quite like spending an evening ice skating with family and friends.
