Yellowstone is home to two main ski rentals shops, both located within the Yellowstone region. Visitors do not always have their own equipment and others prefer to just rent to avoid all the excess baggage. There are many people that visit Yellowstone to ski and enjoy its winter wonderland. Some have equipment, others don't and again others need just the odd repair or two. Whatever the requirements, Yellowstone has sufficient supplies to go around and excellent repair services for all levels and needs. In fact, there are two main ski rentals shops within the area, one with the park and the other closer to Mammoth.
The Bear Den is the top ski rentals store in Yellowstone, with two convenient locations. One is found at the Snowlodge, close to the Old Faithful geyser, and the other close to Mammoth Hot Springs.
Both provide full and half day rentals, including touring packages of gaiters, skis, poles and boots. Alternatively these can be rented separately or included as part of a ski lesson package. Touring packages can include skate skis, sleds and other valuable equipment for very reasonable prices. In fact, all kids' rentals/packages can save their parents' twenty percent off the regular price.
