Sleeping Giant Ski Area in Wyoming
Sleeping Giant Resort will be open for the 2009/2010 Season.
Sleeping Giant Resort has been closed for skiing and snowboarding since 2004 but locals are fighting hard to raise funds for the Yellowstone Recreations Foundation, a local non-profit that manages the mountain, to be able to reopen the mountain for winter recreation soon. Sleeping Giant is located in Cody, Wyoming, right outside the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It offers affordable skiing and beautiful scenery. One of America's oldest resorts, it has been offering skiing since 1936, and is well known for consistently abundant natural snowfall.
