Dubois, Wyoming is just a short distance from the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It is about an hour drive east from Jackson and an hour drive west from Riverton. In the winter months, the road to Yellowstone National Park from the south closes just passed Flagg Ranch. Access into the park from the south is therefore limited to snowmobiles, cross-country skis and snowshoes. But you can enjoy winter adventures without actually leaving the town of Dubois. Sitting at the base of the Wind River Range, the area is a great home base for taking part in outdoor activities just minutes from your doorstep.
